This document outlines the end-to-end process of creating a new project on Art Blocks, from testnet project creation to publishing on mainnet.
The Creator Dashboard contains your Projects homepage and your individual project shell pages, which are used for editing projects. To access the Creator Dashboard, visit https://create.artblocks.io.
While connected to https://create.artblocks.io, you can switch between testnet and mainnet by adjusting your network settings in the top navigation. To access testnet projects, you should be connected to Sepolia, and for accessing your mainnet projects, ensure you are connected to the Ethereum mainnet network.
Each project has a dedicated view calls a project shell. The project shell consists of four main sections designed to assist you in navigating, editing, and managing your project effectively:
- Project Top Navigation: The top navigation comprises several useful buttons, such as direct access to your project page on Art Blocks, the network connect button for switching between networks, and the "Open minting" button for when you're prepared to open collector minting.
- Project Sidebar: The sidebar grants you quick access to the core areas and functions of your project and its release. These include Details, Scripts, Renders, Payment, and Minters.
- Form Content: In the form area, edit and review your project's content. Any changes made in this section will be automatically saved across your sessions.
- Inspector Panel: The inspector panel streamlines the process of monitoring and submitting changes to your form content, distinguishing between two types of data updates: on-chain and off-chain. You can submit on-chain updates individually when you're ready, while off-chain updates can be conveniently submitted in bulk with a single click.
